Frank Kelly

Chief Executive Officer

Having spent over 20 years in the construction industry managing projects as diverse as major civil engineering projects to house building, my focus on value engineering has given me a passion for this new sector.

It is our aim to develop the next generation flood protection products and then to deliver them to a global market. Research and development are vital sector and we have invested heavily to develop a research and testing centre in Worcestershire which puts UK Flood Barriers at the forefront of innovation.

A new sector brings with it new challenges, but we are an outstanding team, striving for excellence, searching for and implementing innovation, working with a passion and determination to continuously improve.

My career has focused on growing and developing consumer led service sectors which gives me the relevant background and positioning to fulfil the demands of a high growth business in a rapidly growing sector.

With overall responsibility for the company’s stakeholder relations and a remit to develop and build our growing team, my communication and leadership skills are essential tools, alongside a passionate commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

My engineering background has given me an exceptional eye for detail which is invaluable in my role as Head of Surveying. This is an incredibly challenging market place: the flood defence sector is so new that each project we engage with requires a different set of solutions.

As an outgoing and gregarious person I enjoy meeting with engineers, architects as well as members of the public and drawing upon my skills to ensure that we get exactly the right flood defence solution for each customer.
