Bespoke Flood Angel® Flood Defenders™ are ideal for either standard in or outward opening doors or larger apertures such as patio and French doors.  The system can be fitted to virtually any property, and once installed can be quickly and easily deployed to give complete security and peace of mind. 

With the Flood Angel® Flood Defenders™ there are two fixing systems available; the first being a system which requires no fixing rails and is virtually invisible.  It is suitable for fixing directly into wood and upvc door frames and brickwork.  It is ideal for listed properties where permanent rails are not always acceptable to the local planning authority.

The second system comprises two vertical carrier rails which are permanently fitted to the property.  These are unobtrusive, corrosion-resistant and can be supplied with a coloured protective powder coating to ensure they blend in with their environment. 

The system is manufactured to suit each individual property, and can be produced to maximum height of 1 metre. 

The Flood Angel Flood Defender™  for standard doors and the Flood Angel Flood Defender™ for patio doors are both Kitemark licensed products. Passed the rigorous testing criteria of PAS 1188-1:2009.

A single-piece floodboard is provided with a sealed aluminium frame for strength and top handles for ease of use.  The barrier is manufactured from Polyester GRP (a material used to produce car bodies, boat hulls etc) which is 100% waterproof.  The barrier is lightweight, and combines manageability with rigidity.

The floodboard also contains extremely efficient “closed cell” EPDM rubber seals which form an effective, watertight barrier.

Please ensure that when storing the panels any possible damage caused by crushing, animals, children, accidental damage etc is eliminated.  The panels are only effective when they are undamaged and the seals intact.
Should any damage occur to the seals, or any parts get lost, replacement parts are readily available by post.  Please call for prices.
To ensure longevity of EPDM rubber seals it is advisable to store panels away from direct sunlight. 

If barrier has been deployed and come into contact with flood water, once the threat has subsided and the panel has been removed, wash down gently with cool soapy water, check seals and store away as usual.
