A Selection of Recommendations

Submersible pumps fitted within the floor void; flood alarms are available that will inform you of rising ground water before it reaches your floor joists. The pump kicks in automatically once the water reaches 30mm and will pump down to 1 mm. Well worth installing.

Seal your brick work to a height of 1.2 metres. You can get this sealant from any DIY or builders merchant and it is applied using a paint brush; simple and effective.
