Flood Angel® Flood Defender™ has the BSI kitemark accreditation. This superior flood defence barrier is a bespoke, made to measure product. Suitable for either standard inward or outward opening doors, the system can be produced using five different fixing systems so that it can be fitted to virtually any door opening.

The Flood Defender is quick and easy to install.

5 FIXING SYSTEMS

There are 5 fixing systems available for the Flood Defender.
Type A – Wall mounted barrier
Type B – Nutsert into UPVC
Type C – Nutsert into wood frame
Type D – Barrier into vertical rails
Type E – Barrier into frame

LISTED BUILDINGS

Ideal for listed properties where permanent rails are not always acceptable to the local planning authority.

DISABLED ACCESS

Suitable for disabled access as no rails or channels are required.

CONSTRUCTION

A single-piece flood board is provided with a sealed aluminium frame for strength and top handles for ease of use. The barrier is manufactured from Polyester GRP (a material used to produce car bodies and boat hulls) which is 100% waterproof. The barrier is lightweight, and combines manageability with rigidity.

The flood board also contains extremely efficient “closed cell” EPDM rubber seals which form an effective, watertight barrier.

Kitemark licensed product. Passed the rigorous testing criteria of PAS 1188-1:2009.

SIZE

The Flood Defender™ can be manufactured completely bespoke - up to 1000mm heights.
